Where most see a blank wall, we see a beautiful opportunity to tell an immersive brand story.
It was an honor to collaborate and consult with Oral Roberts University on their new Biological Sciences Center. Where most people see a blank wall, we see a beautiful opportunity to tell an immersive brand story. We live for moments where we can thoughtfully transform a space into an immersive place of connection and interaction. Working closely with ORU, their architects, and contractors, we were able to develop—and share—a grand vision for the biology department and bring this project to life.
Art Imitates Life.
To authentically capture the essence of the Biological Sciences Center, we developed a theme based on the concept of a cell – the basic building blocks of all living things. The cellular motif is present throughout the space, from custom wall graphics and fixtures to a frosted glass pattern. The furnishings, textures, and environmental graphics all work harmoniously to tell a story on multiple levels.
The Biological Sciences Center represents ORU's dedication to creating innovative spaces that empower students on their academic journey. The newly renovated 27,000-square-foot facility contains five open-concept laboratories with open access between labs for research, collaboration, equipment, and reagent sharing.
The transformation of the center into a sustainable campus landmark underscores ORU’s commitment to stewardship and innovation. By integrating intentional design principles, spacious solutions, and immersive educational experiences, the project not only enhances the functionality of the building but also inspires a generation of environmentally conscious leaders. This center stands as a testament to the power of collaboration, creativity, and sustainable design that will serve the university for generations.
