When McIntosh asked us to refine their logo, we promised to respect and retain the brand equity they’ve built over the last 64 years. And while the company expanded its specialized services over that time, its visual identity didn’t keep pace. Additionally, there were several iterations of the logo and several sub-brands that needed wrangling.
Our goal was to evolve and modernize the iconic brand while remaining true to its heritage and color palette. To solve the sub-brand challenge, we developed a family of supporting crests that provided an established look and feel and a cohesive branding solution. The new McIntosh identity visually communicates understated confidence and solidifies their leadership position within the mechanical industry.
Fun fact: Hampton Creative and McIntosh both worked on the Oklahoma Tourism Information Center rebranding project in 2020. More details to follow!
