Practicing What We Preach.

As an advertising and marketing agency, we know a thing or two about the power of image and the importance of creating the right first impression.

A great logo sets expectations. It tells customers who you are, what you offer, and what makes you unique. It conveys a distilled, highly concentrated message about your company – and it does all that at a glance. Of course, once those expectations are established, you’ve got to have the substance to back it up.

This is precisely why we decided to refine our own logo. We wanted the new mark to more accurately reflect what was happening inside (and outside) the chalked walls of Hampton Creative. Growth. New ideas. New team members. Change.

But more than anything, the new logo is about inventing, standing out, and pushing boundaries. Which is what we do here at Hampton Creative every day.

Because we can’t ask clients to consider updating their existing logos if we’re not willing to make the same commitment.

The new mark, in contrast with the old logo, is stronger and makes more of a visual impact.

We also refined the overall shape of the mark itself, which was previously a perfectly round circle. It has now been slightly stretched (as we have been) which speaks to the differentiation and creativity of our agency.

The iconic Hampton “h” has been updated with a customized font, and we’ve introduced a stronger typeface for the brand name (Proxima Nova for you all font savants).

After sweating the details and battling back and forth internally over the new logo, we are pleased with this new direction. Please take a moment to let us know what you think!

If your company has a logo that is in need of refinement – or a complete redo from scratch – we’d love to collaborate with you and your team to create something that will stand out and distinguish your brand from the crowd.

I like it a lot. The “stretched” circle is a clever idea and the overall design is a big winner. Good work by you and the team over there.
