Wow.
2018 has been one incredible blur of a year for Hampton Creative…how is it December? There are so many awesome projects and people to be grateful for this year, including more opportunities do Work That Matters on a larger scale.
We were also blessed to expand our environmental design reach and influence, and created some killer work for several notable clients, which is our jam. (OK – so environmental design is one of our jams).
It’s hard to do 2018 justice with a single article…but we’re going to give it right go. So sit back, enjoy a cup of cheer (Hampton Christmas Blend, preferably) and indulge us as we take a brief stroll down memory lane.
Here are just a few of our favorite things that made 2018 unforgettable:
#1. Crisis Pregnancy Outreach – 14th Annual Gala
2018 marked the 5th year of our partnership with CPO, and our 5th year managing their most success fundraising event to date. “Flourish” was the theme for this years’ event, which inspired our team to design and build a living greenhouse inside the the historic Mayo Hotel that told CPO’s story.
#2. Usborne Books & More – 2018 National Convention
The theme for UBAM’s national sales and leadership event, “Be Brilliant,” provided the spark of inspiration that powered each of our environmental design concepts. From a super-sized coloring book for adults, to gigantic Jenga blocks, each installation element was designed to inspire, surprise, and delight attendees.
#3. Hampton Creative’s Sweet 16
2018 witnessed Hampton Creative turn another year older (and get a little sassy) as we celebrated our 16th journey around the sun. To celebrate this sweet occasion, we lit some sparklers and made a video featuring a cake-easting dinosaur. Enjoy!
#4. A Classic Christmas with Rustic Cuff
Fact: Christmas is the most wonderful time of the year. For the 2018 12 Days of Classic Christmas marketing campaign, we stepped back in time to those nostalgic, tinsel-strewn Christmases of yesteryear. Awareness for the campaign was supported by a series of classic 1950’s commercials featuring Rustic Cuff founder, Jill Donovan. Here are a few outtakes that didn’t quite make the cut.
#5. A Deep Dive With SeaWorld
While this project(s) is still technically under wraps, we’re thrilled to share some FINtastic news in 2019. But for now, we’ll just leave you with a glimpse of the illustrations we created for our friends at SeaWorld, which may be emerging at a park near you.
