They say art imitates life, and we’d concur. When we began brainstorming concepts for the 2019 Crisis Pregnancy Outreach Gala, we were inspired by incredible butterfly art installations. And then the “aha” moment struck. The ongoing process of growth – from caterpillar to cocoon, and from chrysalis to butterfly — is a perfect representation of the process women and children experience through CPO. The significance of the chrysalis stage is that it’s the final stage of development before the butterfly emerges from its protecting covering. CPO provides that same nurturing environment for women and children, guiding them into their next phase of life. It’s often an imperfect and messy process, but Ecclesiastes 3:11 says, “He has made everything beautiful in its time.”
